Pjilita’q Mi’kmaki: L’nuite’tmukl tan wejkuwaql naqwe’kl | International Gathering: Respect for Water/Life For All Relations

ACC-CCA Executive Director, Clayton Windatt, will lead welcoming statements and facilitated discussions outlining four days of Indigenous art actions and activations throughout the city.

Presentations will include consideration to undoing or living and working beyond colonial borders and enforced diasporas from home territories and the restorative work of community-building that we enact in diverse ecologies are all intimately linked by water/life-sustaining practices.


The 2018 edition of the Aboriginal Curatorial Collective / Collectif des commissaires autochtones (ACC-CCA)’s ongoing colloquia and gathering series, Pjilita’q Mi’kmaki: L’nuite’tmukl tan wejkuwaql naqwe’kl International Gathering is a large-scale gathering of Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis and other relatives) curators, arts workers, writers and artists of all disciplines from October 10-13th, 2018 in K’jipuktuk in Mi’kmaki/Halifax in Nova Scotia.
