CANCELLED: Global Climate Action Day hosted by Mi’kmaw Conservation Group and Annapolis Valley First Nation

Unfortunately, these events have been cancelled due to a lack of registered participants.
October 24 is Global Climate Action Day, and to celebrate, the Mi’kmaw Conservation Group will be hosting the following youth workshops (18 and under) at the Health Centre (see poster for more details):
1. Energy Efficiency Experiment: 11:00am to 11:15am
2. Wetlands: 11:15am to 12:15pm
3. Black Ash and the Emerald Ash Borer: 12:15pm to 12:45pm

The Mi’kmaw Conservation Group will also be hosting the following workshops in the afternoon. Open to all ages:
1. Beekeeping: 2:00pm to 3:30pm at Webster’s Farm (protective equipment will be provided)
2. Native Pollinators: 3:30pm to 5:30pm at the Health Centre
