The Millbrook Cultural & Heritage Centre are pleased to announce that we will be having a Speakers Series during the Month of October to celebrate Mi’kmaq History Month. This week we invite you to come and listen to Curtis Michael. So please come out and join us for a fun filled evening. Presenter Bio:
Curtis Michael – October 19, 2016 from 6-8pm
Sipekene’kati First Nation
Curtis Michael was born and raised on the Sipekene’kati First Nation. He is married to Rose Michael (nee Nevin) and they have 11 Children. Curtis teaches our Mi’kmaw Language at the L’nu Sipuk Kina’muo’kuom (LSK). Curtis has created a flash card Mi’kmaw Language game called, “Mi’kmaw Made Easy” and has been an advocate for our language for many years.
