SUMMARY:2017 Honouree Mi'kmaq Heritage:  The Mi'kmaq Heritage Hockey Classic- Bury the Hatchet
DESCRIPTION:Join the Mi’kmaq Nation as we celebrate Heritage Day 2017\, with a Mid-Winter Feast and 2 game hockey series. \nThe Mi’kmaq community will host a two-game hockey challenge called The Mi’kmaq Heritage Hockey Classic – Bury the Hatchet\, where Chifls and Council members will play members and staff of the Nova Scotia government.  The first of the two-game hockey challenge was held in Membertou on Feb. 18th. \nThe second game will start at 10 a.m. on Monday\, Feb. 20\, at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre. \n\n\n \nTraditional Mid-winter Feast \nFollowing each game\, both communities will host a traditional mid-winter feast.
